This is true. However when carbon fiber snaps it shatters and usually doesn't poke any holes in the car. The 350Z has a carbon fiber driveshaft stock. I'm pretty sure it was a safety issue not a performance one....buy hey it looks good on the 'options' list. What people really need to compare is rotational inertia when talking about rotating objects (wheels, rotors, flywheels, clutches, etc.) Because two object with the same general shape and vastly different weights can have the same rotational inertia. Not saying all those driveshafts aren't an improvement over stock....just being realistic.
